My Experience

I have several years of experience working in primary education, most recently as a Year 2 Teacher and Maths Lead. This has given me extensive knowledge of child development, behaviour management, and early learning, as well as the ability to adapt activities to suit individual needs and interests. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children one-to-one and in groups, including those with SEND. My background in education means I am confident in planning enriching activities, helping with homework, and encouraging children’s social and emotional development, while also bringing the flexibility and warmth needed in a home environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Winchester. Alongside my classroom teaching, I have worked as a Maths Lead, developing strategies to support children’s learning, designing engaging activities, and ensuring progress across different age groups. I am also trained in phonics (Little Wandle) and experienced in planning targeted interventions for SEND and rapid catch-up, helping every child feel supported and able to achieve their potential. This background allows me to provide not only high-quality childcare but also enriching, educational support that builds confidence, independence, and a love of learning

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday during school holidays, covering both mornings and afternoons, and I am also happy to offer flexibility with some evenings and occasional weekends as needed. I understand that every family’s routine is unique, so I am open to working around important events, summer club schedules, or special occasions. I am also happy to support families with travel and holidays, ensuring consistency and peace of mind wherever possible

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
