We've created a home away from home setting with an indoor and outdoor play experience, perfect for your child/children. Our setting offers ample amounts of space in a caring, exciting and stimulating environment.

My Experience
Hi I'm Keryn, I recently began this exciting adventure into becoming a childminder. I qualified and registered this year, 2022, which is fantastic, this allows me to build a business around the care of our large family.
I am a mother to 4 beautiful children aged between 11 and 2. Before embarking on this journey I was a stay at home mum since the birth of my eldest daughter in 2010.
We recently moved up to Long Bennington in July 2021 and absolutely love the village lifestyle and fresh air at our finger tips. My wonderful husband, Robert, will be my assistant and take the steps in the near future to become a registered childminder himself!
I hold all necessary statutory requirements for a home-based Childminder this includes: Ofsted registration (Registration Number 2682504), enhanced DBS checks for myself and my husband, Paediatric First Aid certificate, Data Protection, Food Hygiene registration with Lincolnshire County Council and my car insurance covers business use.
My name is Rob, I am currently in training to be a fully registered childminder myself, so in the meantime I’m assisting Keryn in creating an incredible setting for children here at our wonderful home. My working background was spent in retail as a manager for Curry’s, it was during the pandemic and facing redundancy I re-evaluated my career path. During that year I found a new passion in supporting my own children in their learning and play on a daily basis.
I hold all necessary statutory requirements for a home-based Childminding Assistant – enhanced DBS checks and Paediatric First Aid certificate.
We continually undergo training courses in line with our continual professional development.

My twins have been with Riverbears for over a year, from 11 months old and every day in their care has been exactly what we have all needed, they have provided a warm, caring, fun, enriching space for the boys to grow and learn and they’ve provided me with all the reassurance and photos throughout the day that a mum needs…I dread the day the boys turn 5 and have to go to leave them for school.
