About Me
Hello Parents,
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have worked in childcare for over 25 years experience. I have a small but homely set up that provides a home to home experience.
I am qualified to a level 4 in childcare, as well as Montessori trained and have experience of working with children who have special needs.
My aim is to provide a warm and welcoming environment, in a small but nurturing setting.
I have plenty of outdoor space, with the use of a large communal area that we use regularly, I am also local to two parks that we use regularly and the library.
I aim to provide opportunities for children to grow and flourish by allowing children to get the best individual attention they deserve. I promote curiosity and encourage critical thinking through investigation and a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. The advantage of having small groups in a home setting allows each child to receive the same quality teaching and experience they deserve in a homely environment and at a pace that suits the individual child.
I aim to provide an atmosphere that will portrays a multi-cultural and diverse environment. This will be done through various activities e.g food, creativity and celebrating festivals.
I will send you daily updates on your child’s progress and photos of any special moments and activities your child has been part of.
Your child will have a journal book with memories of their milestones achieved, art work and drawings while at Little stars.

Little stars Montessori is a loving and caring set up, offering a home from home experience
I offer activities such as art and craft, music and movement, cooking, forest school and yoga.
I can also arrange a video call prior to a visit.
I am located on upper Clapton road E5,
bus routes 393, 254, 253 and 106. Close to Clapton train station.
I offer the 30 hours funding for 9months and 2-3 year

My day rate is £87.00 per a day.
Hourly rate £10.00 (minimum of 4 hours)
8am to 12noon. ( shorter hours)

I recommend Kelly and Caroline extremely highly, our daughter was beyond happy with them. They provide such a loving and caring environment, whilst enabling them to develop huge amounts. Each week and day is curated with such thought and purpose, and there is such a lot of variety in what the kids do. Our little girl loved it. Kelly is amazing with communication and it was really great having updates of our little one's day via whatsapp. I was also really impressed with the manners and social skills our little one developed while with them, she also loved all the creativity and fun. If anyone is looking for a nurturing, caring and lovely place for the child, then this is it.

We can’t say thank you enough to Kelly for how she looked after our daughter. She’s an outstanding childminder and we’d recommend her to anyone. Our daughter loved being with Kelly so much she often didn’t want to come home! As first time parents, the transition into childcare and back to work for mum felt really difficult, but Kelly immediately put us at ease with both her warmth and professionalism. With her assistant Caroline, Kelly has created a fun, loving, family atmosphere, with so many thoughtful activities, arts and crafts, and play, as well as exploring outside in forest school. It really reassured us how clear and consistent her communication is, day to day and around things like her curriculum. Kelly kept us up to date on all our daughter’s developmental milestones. She thrived in Kelly’s care, and we’re sure that contributed to her confidence and happiness.

As first time parents we were very anxious about or little boy going into childcare, he started with Kelly and Caroline just after his first birthday. Little stars keep us updated with everything throughout the day and take some great pictures of our little one of what he’s getting upto, I instantly felt reassured. They are big on the child’s development and it shows. As I first time anxious mum I would highly recommend little stars and just want to say thank you for the level of care that is shown to our little one. :) xxx

We would very highly recommend Kelly and Caroline as childminders. They supported and cared for our young son for his second year and we felt that he grew a lot in confidence. There was always a sense that they carefully planned their days with the children, with a good balance of focused activities and playtime. We never felt that the children were just 'minded', but engaged with and led through explorations of games, imaginative play, art etc. which really fed their curiosity. He always came home talking about the day and what they did and the good food that they ate, as well as the wonderful connections he made with the other children. Kelly and Caroline were very careful and conscientious about his health and supported us whenever he needed additional attention. They were also very easy to communicate with. Overall, it felt like this was an excellent first step for our son out into a wider world of play and learning, that felt safe, considered and nurturing.

Our daughter has been attending Little Stars now since April 2023 (she is now 20 months). From the moment we walked in the door for our first visit I was immediately reassured and confident that Kelly and Caroline would provide a loving, supportive environment for our daughter. Kellys home is immaculate, despite 4 little ones running around. Our daughter is quite shy and it took a good 4-6 weeks for her to really settle in but Kelly went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable, even buying new toys to match the ones we had at home. She was also extremley supportive for us as parents as this was our first experince of childcare. We receive regular updates throughout the day, with pictures and videos documenting her achievements. They encourage creativity with lots of arts and crafts. Kelly will always ask and enquire how our daughter is doing at home so that they can take into account areas of development they can provide support on and actively encourage. Whilst Kelly's home doesn't have a garden she ensures the children get out and about, with a park nearby and organised trips to destinations like Clissold Park. Our daughter puts out her arms and walks in the door every morning and doesn't look back, which I think is a 5 star review in itself.

Kelly was our first experience with childcare for our little one and it was the perfect experience for us to ease into this world. Kelly is so naturally wonderful with children, smiley and positive, kind and caring. We trust that she made the friendliest environment for our baby. It was a pleasure working with her and we are sad to have to move on now we are accepted into a local nursery! Thank you again Kelly!

Our 18 month old son has been with Kelly and Caroline since January 2023. He is always happy to go in the morning and discover the exciting indoor and outdoor activities they have planned for the day. We receive updates and pictures throughout the day and he comes home content and well fed. Kelly and Caroline are doing an excellent job looking after our child and support his learning and development.

My son has been attending Kelly and Caroline's home nursery for about 5 months (now aged 20 months). He is very happy there! He runs into their home every morning, excited to find out what activities have been set up that day. He has never been upset to say goodbye and has clearly built a bond with Kelly and Caroline. He is always well fed, does nice long naps and gets to go outside to the local parks often. He has developed really well since going here and it's lovely to see him interact with a small group of friends of varying ages. Kelly updates us daily on his development and interests and 'wow moments'. They have created a brilliant home nursery and we are really happy with the care they provide. I would recommend Kelly and Caroline's home nursery.
