My name is Amy i am 18 years old and i am looking for a job to extend my passion for childcare
i have 6 siblings, 2 nephews and 3 nieces which have given me a lot of experience in babysitting and caring for children within the ages of 6 months to 11.
I also want to be a social worker when i have the qualifications so i think it would be an amazing opportunity and great extra experience.
My Experience
I have Previous experience from looking after my younger siblings which are ages of 7,10 and 13. I previously volunteered to work in a under 11's after school club, which gave me a bit more experience with children from what i already had. my 10 year old brother has autism and ADD and my 13 year old brother is deaf also two of the children i supervised in the after school club had cerebral palsy so i have experience with many different special needs. I also previously worked in a nursery which gave me much more experience with children such at nappy changing and hygiene, food preparation, time management and multitasking. I am also up for creating activities for young children which allow them so explore their skills and surroundings if needed i can give you references to these child care facilities
