My Summary
About Me
OFSTED OUTSTANDING - last inspected November 2015.
I am married with 2 childen and have a happy safe home on a cul-de-sac with an enclosed garden.I have a very large exciting play room with activities for all ages including books,dens, play dough, mark making, role play,small world, games, music and much more.
Outside there are slides, a climbing frame and I set out themed tuff trays with natural and heuristic resources to ignite childrens curiosity.
I plan and incorporate activities to meet individual children' s needs encouraging them to explore and investigate the world around them.
I focus sharply on acquiring communication and language skills and promote independence and self care during routines and high quality interaction.
I am a self motivated learner and continually strive to improve by attending various training courses and my practice is highly reflective.
My aim is for all children to be safe happy and have lots of fun whilst learning and developing their confidence and skills.
I live a minutes walk away from the local School , Pre school and the park.
My Experience
As well as bringing up my own children I have been a Committee member at my local Play Group and have worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Supply Agency where I went to various schools working with children of all ages and abilities.
Since childminding I have supported children with speech therapy, ADHD and with English as an additional language. I have NVQ level 3 Working with Children and Young Peoples Worforce and have completed a Special Educational Needs course as well as those listed below.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Childminding Pre registration Course and have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and have also completed the following courses-

My Availability
Monday,Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday 7.30- 5:30pm
I can offer FREE child places for 2 and 3 year olds.
My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
Before School (for School Children) - £5.00 inc breakfast
After School (for School Children) - £10.00 including Snack.
All Day inc drop off and pick up from Nursery - £37.50. inc lunch and snacks
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Harthill Primary School

Jilly tots is a nice warm homely setting. My girls love attending and it has helped them come on so much in confidence, learning etc..

My son has being coming to Jills since he was around 11 months old and he has loved it since day one. Now he is bigger, he talks constantly about Jill and the friends he has made at jillytots. She treats all the children like her family and I've never felt nervous leaving my son with her. She takes them out weekly, always has fun activities and they learn so much. I would recommend Jill to anyone in a heartbeat, she's truly a wonderful childminder and me and my son are very lucky to have found her.

We sent our 7 month old daughter to Jill when we needed to find a last minute childcare solution. It's the first time we've sent her to childcare and although we were nervous Jill put us at ease immediately. She provided settling in sessions and was on hand to answer all our questions. In Jill's care our little girl couldn't have been happier and we saw her confidence grow during her time there. Jill cares so superbly for the children and her home is so impressively geared towards their play and development. We can't recommend Jilly Tot's enough and we hope to send our daughter back very soon!
