About Me

My husband and I are both working parents and are looking for a warm, experienced nanny to support our 6-year-old son during the school holidays. He is a friendly, social, and confident child who copes well with learning and everyday routines, and his needs are not immediately noticeable unless you spend time with him. We are looking for someone who can provide calm, consistent 1:1 attention, help him with age-appropriate Maths and English activities, encourage outdoor play, and support his communication and physical development through play-based learning. A speech therapist visits weekly, and we would value someone who can follow simple guidance and reinforce activities during the week. I work from home and will be available throughout the day. The main requirement is for the summer holidays from 9th July to 2nd September, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with around 10 days off during this period (either at the beginning of July or end of August). This works out to approximately 6–7 weeks in total. We also require support during April from 2nd April to 21st and are open to someone who is available for 10–12 days during that time. We are looking for someone patient, engaging, and reliable who enjoys supporting children and helping them thrive.
