About Me
My name is Eira Byrne and I am an OFSTED registered Childminder working to support parents in ensuring their children receive high quality care in a safe, secure and nurturing environment.
I believe a positive partnership with parents is the key to children thriving in their holistic development.
I have a spacious environment both indoors and outdoors for children to develop in all areas of their learning. There is a separate area to the playroom for children to sleep in. The garden is a large area of grass and decking which includes a build in sand pit, construction pit, water wall and mud kitchen to name a few. We have a very well behaved dog who has space to be kept away from the children's areas and two Guinea Pigs that the children can help care for.
I am able to offer support for individuals as required in the Early Years Statutory Framework.
I will provide a wide variety of healthy meals and snacks. These can be tailored for individuals to support any specific dietary requirements.
My Experience
My previous background is offering a safe and secure environment is which children learn how to build healthier relationships with adults and peers. As part of this role it also includes being aware of and helping children to deal with often very damaging traumas. Therefore I have extra training and qualifications linked to many different subjects.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
£42 for a full day, £26 for half day 7-12.30/12.30 -6pm inclusive of food. Bank holidays £42 (no premium charge) and weekends flat day rate of £50.
School holiday club £4ph- sibling discount available.

We decided to move our son out of the nursery setting as he was traumatised at every single drop off . We thought the childminding setting might work better for him to create a more homely environment. Eira was the first CM we spoke to and felt very reassured straight away. We are in the early days of Eira looking after our son but it is already going fantastically.
Eira is friendly and caring; amazing with the children. Very professional and gives all the information needed for us to feel secure to leave our son in her care.
The setting is beautiful, clean and well equipped - the garden is a kids dream!!
