About Me

My name is Gemma. I live in Hitchin with my partner and 3 children 11,8, & 3 and my very friendly cockapoo Teddy. We are very fortunate to live right by Oughtonhead nature reserve and we enjoy lots of outdoor walks as a family. As a childminder I will also encourage this, as well as taking the children to groups, play cafes and parks. I have recently registered as a childminder with Ofsted and currently have an early years space available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My Experience

I have been a level 3 qualified nursery nurse for 18yrs. 15 of those were spent working at various levels across ages ranging from 6mths- 5yrs in a day nursery setting. I have good knowledge of the EYFS and the recent changes.

NVQ Level 3 in children’s care learning and development.
