My Experience

I have experience working in an Early Years setting for 3 months. During this time I worked primarily in the Pre-School room with children aged 3-5, although I have experience with babies and toddlers as well, and have a basic understanding of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) including learning through play, and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

I have a full Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Enhanced DBS. I was an acting First Aider in this job and previous roles.

I have experience as a carer to a baby from Premie to age 1, as well as experience babysitting multiple children at once, including 5 children from ages 1 - 17. I have a younger sister aged 5 who I have helped care for from birth and now continue to babysit.
I have experience from parenting myself, babysitting and from my work in retail, in handling and preparing balanced meals.

I currently have 11 months experience as a part time nanny working with children at primary school and pre school age.

I am more than happy to supply evidence of all qualifications and documents listed above.

My Qualifications

I have completed the Core Skills Training as required for Ofstead Registration. I am currently awaiting approval of Ofstead registration (12 weeks processing time).

I also hold a Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Enhanced DBS and multiple online qualifications which I have gained so far in my Early Years training.

I have full cover nanny insurance.

My Availability

I am available for babysitting only across the week.
I am also available for emergency/last minute call outs (slightly higher rate of pay for under 24 hours notice, as listed below). This could be for emergency hospital visits etc.
Minimum bookable hours is 2 hours.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

I operate on hourly pay for babysitting.
I charge a slightly higher fee for last minute calls (under 24 hour notice) at £15/hour. Any work past 9pm is also at £15/hour.

If I babysit for you regularly or you need me for longer periods of time (e.g. a full day), I am happy to work out a reduced payment for you.
Nannying rates are fixed, I also charge for mileage for school runs and prepayment for out of home organised activities/day trips (e.g. ticket prices).

Overnights are priced at £7/hour per sleeping hours and £15/hour for waking hours. I am not currently taking bookings for overnights but will consider bookings for current families.
