Wonderful for our boys

Reviewed

I’ve known Emma for nearly six years now, and she’s looked after both my boys (now 6 and 3). She’s such a warm and loving person, and both boys felt comfortable with her very quickly. Emma is a wonderful communicator, and established an open and honest relationship with us as parents from the start. She always feels approachable, and it’s easy to see how much she cares for the families she works with. My younger son who is in her setting now has multiple severe food allergies, which can be quite complex to deal with, but Emma has taken every care to balance his needs with making sure he feels included. He loves to go round her house to play, and has established such lovely friendships with both her and the other children in her care. Her setting is thoughtfully set up to focus on younger children with lots to keep them busy at their home away from home, and he always comes home proud to show off his latest artwork or tell us about their trip to the park. Emma often sends photos of what they got up to during the day, which helps us feel connected, and he loves to look back at the photos in the evening to tell us all about his adventures. Our oldest is in school now, but begged to get to go back to Emma’s one afternoon over half term so he could play too. We feel so lucky to have found Emma - she’s really more like part of our family now. I cannot recommend her enough.
