About Me
My name is Ria (Maria) and I am a childminder at my early Years Child Care setting Ria’s Giggles. I have a passion for working with children of all ages and I feel privileged to enjoy my work so much. I have 24 years of childcare experience and I am qualified to degree level in early years. I also enjoy socialising and family time.
I live with my husband and 2 children of secondary school age as well as our Labrador.
I currently only care for children within their early years, so from age 3 months until they attend primary school.
Ria’s Giggles runs very much like any other early year’s settings, we are one big family here and I try to work hard to meet the individual needs of each member of our Giggles Family. That goes for your child’s needs and your whole family’s needs.

My Experience
I have been working in child care for 24 years and studying along the way!
I have been mothers help, nanny, crèche assistant then manager, nursery room supervisor, one to one support with a child with a SEN, creator & manager of breakfast club, play scheme manager, babysitter and a teaching assistant.
My Qualifications
Degree in Early Years and Education
First Aid and DBS all up to date,registered with OFSTED.
Member of PACEY
My Availability
I have a full day spaces available Mon - Thurs 8-6 so do get in touch if I can help you at all.
I am registered to accept all the different aged Government funding!
