About Me

My name is Ria (Maria) and I am a childminder at my early Years Child Care setting Ria’s Giggles. I have a passion for working with children of all ages and I feel privileged to enjoy my work so much. I have18 years of childcare experience and I am qualified to degree level in early years. I also enjoy socialising and family time.

Darren is my Husband; he is a carpenter by trade and will be my emergency contact should I need him. He is DBS (police check) checked. He enjoys socialising, family time and motorbikes.

Darren and I have 2 children and do not plan to have any others!

Our Daughter is 13 years old, and our Son is 10 years old, they love Socialising, Motorbikes and Being Outdoors.
We all have a pet dog called Roxy who
is a 1 year old Labrador. Roxy loves the children giving her treats and long walks and cuddles.

I currently only care for children within their early years, so from age 3 months until they attend primary school.

I have created a wonderful outdoor space in our garden including a tree house and a mud kitchen area where the children can explore, discover and experience learning through play in the great outdoors.
Ria’s Giggles values the importance of exploring new environments and socialising with others so we are often out and about lots.

Ria’s Giggles runs very much like any other early year’s settings, we have policies and procedures in place which you are most welcome to read through should you wish. We are one big family here and I try to work hard to meet the individual needs of each member of our Giggles Family. That goes for your child’s needs and your whole family’s needs.
