My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced and dedicated primary school teacher who is here to help your child achieve their potential. I am passionate about working with children, who for whatever reason cannot access education in the school environment.
My specialisms are primary English and Maths focus - Phonics and Reading as as well as 11+. I am committed to teaching and am determined to make learning an exciting and fulfilling journey for all children.
I have experience with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 SAT's as well as Phonic Screening assessment.
My Experience
In 2014 I gained my PGCE with QTS qualification at Middlesex University. I have seven years' experience of teaching pupils in a classroom setting - ranging from Reception to Year 6. I have experience with supporting students in a special school as well as students with a range of learning disabilities. Working in London schools has given me the insight of supporting and working along a range of families and students with diverse backgrounds.
I have a track record of 'closing learning gaps' very quickly through small interventions as well as support one-to-one - whether it be Early Readers, grasping numbers concepts or spelling.
Aside to teaching young children, I also have experience of teaching yoga to adults. The skills I have obtained whilst being in a school environment has thoroughly supported me to plan and prepare, ensure that I manage my time well, as well as to remain engaged to a well-defined sequence with clear and concise oral communication.
