My name is Stacey and offering my services in babysitting and being a nanny from birth to 18. I love to learn new things, am caring, patient, prepaired and love joining in with fun/messy activities! I will give you and your family all my support in whatever way is needed. I love getting involved in different activities, enjoy finding new and creative ways for children to learn.
There is a saying that I have loved ever since I heard it "meet the child where they are and not where everyone expects them to be" I will always meet the child where they are on every level possible.
I have worked in a nursery for 2 years. I have always wanted to work in childcare and love to learn about each child I work with.
I work in a school so I be at your home from 4:30 pm-10 Monday to Thursday and from 2:30 onwards on Fridays as well as weekends
PVG is available upon request
I have a little template with some questions e.g allergies, medication, emergency contacts and so on. THESE ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! I will have these on me if I am ever out and about with you child/ren to ensure I have the correct information in the case of an emergency.
Hopefully an emergency will never happen but I love to be prepared!
I follow GDPR 2018 and have been child protection trained.
My Experience
2 years working in a nursery, with 1:1 support with SEN children. I also know from both the childcare setting and homelife how tricky it can be. I have a younger sister who is disabled and I have cared for for the past 3 years, so can provide help when needed.
I currently work in a school for children with additional support needs where I am constantly learning new things about myself and different disabilities (autism, down syndrome, epilepsy, AHDH, learning difficulties, Non verbal, sign)
My youngest sibling has down syndrome and have spent a lot of time supporting her. I know how difficult it can be !

Stacey has helped up regularly as a bedtime nanny/ babysitter one evening a week for several months, and we are very happy with her service and experience. She was always prompt and an excellent and courteous communicator. She was kind and patient with our 2 boys aged 2 and 4 and we are grateful for the benefit she brings to our family wellbeing.
