About Me

My name is Lucy and I live in a lovely, welcoming family home with my partner, who works outside of the home during the day. Our home is located on a beautiful, friendly estate with lots of nearby parks and play spaces, providing wonderful opportunities for outdoor play, exploration and fresh air.
We also have a small, friendly dog who is very calm and used to being around children. All interactions are carefully supervised, and clear boundaries are in place to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of both the children and our pet at all times. Hygiene routines are followed, and children are gently taught how to interact with animals in a kind and respectful way.
We both have our enhanced DBS checks.
I have completed my full paediatric first aid course.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 4 years now and have loved every second of it. I’m a friendly, experienced childminder offering a warm, home-from-home setting where children feel safe, happy and valued.
We enjoy regular outings and adventures, including trips to the zoo, ice cream farm, local play areas and forest walks – helping children learn through real-life experiences and exploration.
I promote independence and school readiness, supporting children to build confidence, social skills and a love of learning at their own pace. Each day includes fun, educational themed activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and development across all areas of learning.
Most of all, I truly love working with children and take great joy in watching them grow, flourish and reach their individual milestones.

My wife and I are so so happy having our children with Lucy, and highly recommend her. Lucy is so thoughtful and kind with the kids and does so many activities and trips. Our two seen so so happy with her which is so comforting as parents. We get great updates when we pickup to tell us about all the things they've done that day. Thanks for everything Lucy!

Lucy watches both of our children and we couldn’t be happier. My eldest went to nursery to begin with and she wasn’t happy there. We decided to try Lucy and are so so SO pleased that we did. Both of our children are happy with Lucy. She takes them out and about but also has created a beautiful home environment for them to enjoy. She is very communicative and keeps us in the loop and always lets us know well in advance if she won’t be open. Honestly, above and beyond.
