About Me
I trained as a Postpartum Doula in 2022 with Younique Postnatal.
I am a mentored Postnatal Doula and a member of Doula UK.
I have 10 years experience working in Childcare setting in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand

I gave birth to my son in 2020 in New Zealand where I lived at the time with my husband.
The Maternity care in NZ is progressive and the midwives are very well respected.
I felt very cared for at the time but I didn't have the birth or the feeding journey I had hoped for and felt very lonely and overwhelmed in the weeks and months after my birth not really knowing what to do or who to turn to. I wish I knew back then what I know now.
?I had heard of a Doula a few years ago but never really dug to deep into what a Doula actually does.
When we decided to make the long journey back to the UK and Ireland to be nearer family I decided a career change would be good for me.
My career used to be in Childcare so I've always worked in jobs with a caring role.
I did more research into the world of 'Doula'ing' and came to the conclusion a postnatal Doula is where I could serve my time best.
So here I am wanting to make a difference to new families and their transition into parenthood.
?Every woman/birthing person deserves to have someone there to guide and assist them in making educated choices about their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.
As your Postnatal Doula I am here to provide unbiased information, physical and emotional support.
I am originally from Ireland but I moved away from home 11 years ago to go travelling and caught the travelling bug! I would say I am a very open-minded person.
I enjoy walks with my family, socialising with friends, the outdoors, reading and I'm a sucker for a Netflix binge. I'm a big foodie and will eat any type of spud/potato put in front of me!
