About Me

Hi — we’re Riya & Alexandre!

We have a daughter called Athena who's almost 3 and about to become a big sister to another little girl (due mid-December).

I (Riya) am an entrepreneur, and my husband is an investor at a private equity fund. I’m Indian but grew up in London, and Alexandre is French and grew up in Paris. We’d love both of our girls to grow up bilingual.

As we get ready to welcome our second daughter, we’d love to find a wonderful French-speaking nanny to join us from January 2026, to support us as we balance careers with family life.

As an entrepreneur, my maternity leave will be fluid and flexible. Athena is at nursery full-time (8:30AM-5:30PM) Mon-Wed and with my parents on Thu-Fri. I am thinking of spending weekday mornings with the baby for the first ~6 months, but I would love help in the afternoons / early evenings so that I can start ramping up on a few hours work during the afternoons as soon as possible, and ideally still do Athena’s nursery pick up on most days.

Whilst we would look to co-create the weekly schedule with you, our current thinking is that we’d love someone to initially join us as follows (~33hrs / week):

- Mon: 12:00-19:00
- Tue: 12:00-19:00
- Wed: 12:00-19:00
- Thu: 12:00-18:00
- Fri: 12:00-18:00

Ideally we’re looking for someone who might also be open to increasing their hours across the week as the baby grows, and hopefully staying with us for a couple of years until our second daughter is at nursery.

We’d also love to have someone to look after both children for a few hours each morning most weekends. We are very open-minded whether this is the same person as during the week or someone else, so we’re happy to include / exclude this depending on your appetite / availability.
