My Requirements

We are looking for someone to provide wrap around care for our two children. The little one is turning 2 and will be starting in the village nursery for mornings, so you would collect him at midday and bring him home for lunch (and probably a nap). Our older son is in school full time nearby but there would be responsibilities which would include pick ups, after school play time / homework and dinner preparation.
In the school holidays this would be a full time role - our older son is sometimes enrolled in some camps, but you would be looking after both children for some of it.

The hours will be Monday-Friday:
11.50am-5.50pm in term time
8.45am - 5.45pm in school holidays
(An average of 33.75 hours, weekly)

This will be a sole charge role albeit both of us parents work from home some of the week (with our own study spaces).

We are keen to keep the children learning and developing with stimulating and educational indoor fun (games, reading, singing songs, crafts, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks. We are also keen for the children to eat healthy meals (which can be a challenge with the older one!) so you will need to prepare nutritious meals for the children, batch cooking/ making family meals when time permits. We employ a weekly cleaner but this role is to include all nursery duties – general care of the children, children’s laundry, keeping all areas the children use clean and tidy between weekly cleans (kitchen, children’s bedrooms and playroom). We appreciate a “muck in” approach to keep our home running smoothly, so someone who is happy to load/unload the dishwasher when needed or pick up groceries etc would be helpful.

Given the village location, you must be a driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car.
