About Me
I am 18 years old and I am passionate about childcare and early years education. I am an experienced babysitter, with a full enhanced DBS check, and have worked with families with children aged 1-8 years.
I find it very important to communicate well with the parents and find out as much information about the child so I can get to know them and make them feel comfortable in my presence.
My Experience
I have been advertising my babysitting for 1.5 years now on the local social media groups and families have reached out to me via this for my babysitting services, so as and when the families have needed me I have looked after their children and sometimes pets too. These children are a range of ages so it's been great to have experience with children at different developmental stages.
I have also done two different local placements for college at My Little Kingdom and Prudhoe West Academy. This gave me a lot of experience within the nursery and school setting, it also allowed me to be more independent and create and lead activities with groups of children while following the EYFS standards. I found this very rewarding seeing the children enjoying and partaking in these activities and learning new things.
My Qualifications
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education
