About Me
I’m Hannah and I’m 29 years old. I was born in Sittingbourne in Kent where I lived until I was 21 and decided i needed an adventure . I then spent the next 4 years traveling and working in Turkey, Greece and Australia. It was a fantastic experience and based on my childcare qualifications it gave me the opportunity to nanny for families whilst incorporating travel. Living in the outback of Australia looking after children on a cattle farm
was certainly an experience I will never forget and will always cherish.
I’m part of a lovely family and we have made some fabulous memories together over the years.
I love meeting new people and finding out about their lives. I’m very sociable and enjoy trying new things. I love a challenge and some might say I
have little fear. Having done a parachute jump, bungee jump……I guess that’s probably true.
Having been a nanny to triplets since they were 10 weeks old until they reached school age I hope I have encouraged them to try new things and enjoy the new experiences each day can bring.
I have a wide network of friends and enjoy keeping in touch with them from all corners of the world.
More recently my sister has given me a nephew and a niece and I love nothing better when I get to see them. They affectionately call me Auntie Fairy .
My Experience
I have had the fantastic opportunity to care for 3 triplets since they were 10 weeks old until now (aged 4 and starting full time School in September). I have been privileged in playing such an important role in supporting their early years development. Having to care for 3 children, alone from 7am - 6.15pm, 5 days a week, has given me the experience to deal with every eventuality that could arise. My strengthens of organisational skills have been crucial in maintaining good routines, positive wellbeing and providing a happy and healthy environment that has enabled the 3 children to thrive. My day to day caring duties has included interaction with external agencies eg. Doctors / health visitors / Nanny networks etc to ensure all needs were being met to a high level to enable the children to flourish.
It was essential each day to prioritise my daily workload to ensure the 3 children received full personnel care / administration of any medication / educational activities / positive health and wellbeing/ strict bedtime / eating routines / discipline / social interaction outside of their own home environment. Caring for 3 babies can be a stressful experience but I feel I cope very well - and this was based around good routines / patience , empathy and strict organisation.
