My Summary
About Me
I am married and I have three children of my own.
My house has it's own toy room with a wide range of toys and games. My garden is a decent size and has a play house where we spend hours cooking up a storm with plastic food!!
We also grow vegetables in the garden so the children get to experience first hand knowledge of where their food comes from
I am a member of the national child minding association.
My Experience
I have worked with children on a voluntary basis since I was sixteen years old.
I studied theatre and media studies at University and have gained a degree in this subject. Although this degree is totally different to the path I am following now I believe it has given me an excellent set up for this role i.e creativity, confidence and fun loving.
I believe I can offer somebody else's child the same care and attention that i show to my own.
My Qualifications
* Ba Hons in theatre / Media studies.
* Diploma in home-based child care.
* Peadratric first aid.
* Level 2 award in principles of Risk Assesment.
* ICT/E-safety.
* Safe guarding children.
* Food hygene

Julie has looked after my 15 month old boy now for 6 months, she is fantastic with him.. he goes to playgroups, parks, wacky warehouse, shopping - it truely is home from home and i have no doubt that she treats him like her own..
He has learnt so much and his social skills are great and thats due to her taking him places and interacting with other children and adults.
Julie was recommended to me by a friend and i couldnt have asked for a better recommendation... leaving the most precious thing in your life is a massive decision for any parent but i cant imagine leaving him with anyone else.
I was very reluctant with leaving my Freddie with a childminder as I never thought a 'stranger' could love and care for my child the way a family member could but i was wrong, I cant praise Julie enough she is just an amazing lady, mom, childminder and now friend....
As a parent i am lucky to have found her xxx

Julie has looked after our 3 year old daughter for 18 months now, and to say we are delighted would be a massive understatement.
Julie and her lovely family provide the perfect environment for our daughter to thrive, and she absolutely loves going to her 'second' home. Julie is also very flexible when it comes to changes in our working arrangements.
Taking her out of nursery and employing Julie was the best thing we could have done for our daughter, and to put it simply, we would not have it any other way.

Julie has looked after my little boy for around nine months now. I had tried a day nursery previously but he wasn't happy there, and when I picked him up he was bored and listless, so i was apprehensive about leaving him again.
At Julie's however he has thrived. She provides a loving, stimulating, happy playful and educational environment, with regular activites and trips to playgroups and i have seen many positive changes in my little boy as a result of her care. His confidence, social skills, talking, creativity and independance have all shown huge improvement.
Sam loves going to Juile's and talks about her and the things they do often, it is fantastic to see him such a happy boy so that i can go to work without worrying.
The thing that I appreciate most about Julie is the genuine love and care that she has for all the children she minds. It is absolutely priceless and creates the best possible atmosphere for the children.
