We hired Ellie for 13 weeks in spring - summer. She worked 3 days per week and charged premium rates. During her first 8 weeks of work she cancelled at the last minute 6 times without any notice (basically 25% of her working days). As she would only text one or two hours before she was due at work, it made finding alternative childcare arrangements practically impossible - resulting in one of us having to miss work to look after our baby boy.
She claims this is not how she normally behaves at work but unfortunately this was our experience.
