Hello families and children :)
I am 21 years old currently working as a live in Nanny since June 2022. I have always had a passion to work with children from a young age and always been told I have a certain way with children and maternal instincts.
Before landing my first role as a nanny I worked in a nursery with all ages from 6 months- pre school, gaining a level 3 qualification in childcare. I wanted to expand my knowledge and try something new by becoming a nanny.
My first role has really helped me gain a better understanding of childcare within a home setting in which I love! I’ve learnt to adapt to routines, experience taking them to playgroups and play dates, eating habits and weaning, as well as working with the family as a mix of sole/shared care. I have also travelled with this family which was a lovely experience and this is something I’m willing to do! I’m also very happy to help around the house with light housework and cleaning up after the children of course!
I’ve decided I now want to live with friends in Clapham so will be looking for a live out position from September 2023, in Clapham and surrounding areas so it’s a short commute. I have most experience with babies up to early school years but I’m very adaptable and open to all ages as well as multiple children!

My Experience
Worked with children since 14 years, teaching dance to children age 2-10.
Left school at 16 years old and did an apprenticeship as a Nursery nurse, gaining my NVQ level 3. I worked here 4 years mainly in the baby room but gained great experience in all rooms from 6 months to pre school.
I then decided I wanted to take my career in childcare further and gained a Live in nanny job a year ago. This has widened my knowledge into childcare within a home setting, completing more caregiving experience such as bath time and putting down to sleep. Following routines and using my Nursery background to provide engaging activities that supports their development and reach milestones. I have enjoyed taking the children to classes and going on play dates, exploring the Nanny world within my area.
I have had 5 years in total of childcare across working in a nursery and my current Nanny position. Plus those first few years experience I gained from my dance teaching Job from 14 years old. I’ve always been told Ive just had ‘a way’ with children and ‘maternal instincts’. My experience has covered a lot of age groups in different ways from 6 months to 10 years old. I feel I’m very flexible with the age group I can work with.
