About Me

Hello, I'm Lynsey, and I run Little Foxes Cookridge, where I provide a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment in which children can feel happy, secure and confident.

I am passionate about creating engaging experiences that support every child's learning, development and individual interests. Our days are filled with plenty of opportunities for creative play, arts and crafts, stories, imaginative activities and outdoor exploration. My spacious setting has a wide range of fun, age-appropriate resources, giving children the freedom to learn through play and discover new interests at their own pace.

I believe children benefit greatly from exploring the wider community. We regularly attend local classes and enjoy outings to places such as farms, libraries, parks and other child-friendly attractions. I have my own car, enabling us to enjoy a varied programme of trips and experiences beyond the setting.

Outdoor play is an important part of our routine. We have a large, secure garden with plenty of space for active play, discovery and fresh air, as well as a sheltered patio area that allows children to enjoy outdoor activities in a range of weather conditions.

I live with my husband and our two children, helping to create a friendly, welcoming and family-orientated atmosphere. At Little Foxes Cookridge, every child is treated as an individual and encouraged to grow in confidence, build friendships and develop through meaningful, enjoyable experiences.

My aim is to give parents complete peace of mind, knowing their child is being cared for in a loving, stimulating and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
