About Me
My name is Emma and I have been working with kids and young people since the age of about 14. I have always enjoyed working with children and I thrive off of making a difference to them and their family’s lives. I am trustworthy and kind and love meeting new people. I pride myself on having a very high level of understanding, love and patience for children.
My Experience
I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, 2:1. I have worked in many different early year’s settings with children aged 2-10, both mainstream and specialist provision. This includes training and competency in delivering medication, enteral feeding, moving and handling and working with severe additional needs and disabilities.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSEs and Alevels. I went on to do a degree in Early Childhood Studies, where I achieved a 2:1.
Since then I have undertaken lots of different training courses spanning from Autism training, safeguarding, outdoor learning, medical and moving and handling training.
My Availability
I currently work in a school for children and young people aged 4-18 with additional needs and disabilities. I am free most evenings for babysitting, most likely to be available on Fridays and Saturdays.
