My name is Lucy, I am 21 years old and have just completed a BA (Hons) degree in Education and Special Educational Needs. I have lots of experience working in nurseries, primary schools and 1-1. I have a DBS and have recently completed a paediatric first aid course and a youth metal health first aid course. I am caring, outgoing and passionate about pursuing a career working with children.
My Experience
I have worked regularly in nurseries and primary schools for the past 3 years alongside my studies. Throughout this time, I have worked with a range of ages from babies from 5 months of age to pre-school children. In these roles, I have led activities, engaged in creative play and storytelling. I have worked in a local nursery, where I was based primarily in the baby room caring for children under two. I enjoyed setting up invitations for the children and engaging the children in many different learning and development.
My Qualifications
I have recently completed my undergraduate studies at Liverpool John Moores University, and I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Special Educational Needs. In addition to my university studies, I have recently completed a youth mental health first aid course and a 2-day paediatric first aid course. I attended West Kirby Grammar School for 7 years, I got two A levels in psychology and religious studies and, a BTEC in health and social care. I obtained 10 good. I have a DBS.
My Availability
I am hoping to do a ski season which will start in December so until then I am free on a regular basis. I have a full clean driving licence and own my own car, so am able to travel if needed.
