At Tasha’s tiny home, we provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home-from-home environment where little ones can grow, learn, and thrive. I focus on supporting each child’s individual needs while encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence through play-based learning.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, helping children develop across all key areas:
• Personal, Social & Emotional Development – building friendships, understanding emotions, and developing self-confidence.
• Communication & Language – encouraging early speech, active listening, and storytelling.
• Physical Development – through fun, active play, both indoors and outside, supporting coordination and motor skills.
• Literacy & Mathematics – introducing letters, sounds, numbers, and patterns in a fun, age-appropriate way.
• Understanding the World – exploring nature, cultures, technology, and our local community.
• Expressive Arts & Design – through music, art, role-play, and imaginative activities.

We believe children learn best when they feel happy, supported, and free to explore. Every day brings new opportunities to play, discover, and grow.

Before becoming a childminder, I worked as a SEN teacher. During my time in the classroom, I developed a strong understanding of how children learn and grow, as well as how to adapt teaching to suit different learning styles and needs.

I planned and delivered engaging, inclusive lessons that supported both academic progress and personal development. My teaching experience also helped me build strong skills in behaviour management, communication with parents and professionals, and creating positive, structured environments where children feel valued and supported.

This background has given me a deep appreciation for early childhood development and a passion for helping children build strong foundations in their early years—socially, emotionally, and educationally. I now bring that knowledge and experience into my childminding practice, providing high-quality care with a strong educational focus.
