About Me

I love teaching and enjoy helping children make real progress in their learning. The key for me is supporting children to find greater confidence as we work to address gaps in their knowledge and understanding. Only then can a student be ready to take their next steps and achieve their potential.

My Experience

I have been a primary school teacher in Cambridge for the last 13 years. I have recently decided to become a primary tutor so that I can help students out of the classroom. In this way, I can respond to their needs immediately and give them the precise help they need. I feel this can make a big difference to both their knowledge, enjoyment as well as their self belief.

My Qualifications

Apart from 13 years primary teaching experience, in 2010 I qualified for my PGCE from Cambridge University.

My Availability

I am fairly flexible during the holidays to run "catch-up" programmes or preparatory sessions for the next school year. From September, I still have some slots available.

My Fees

Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

I charge £40 for an individual 1 hour lesson. Group lessons will be charged differently, after discussion.
