About Me
Hello.
My name is Maria, and I'm an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Eltham. I am a mother of 4 children. As a mother and grandmother, I combine professional teaching techniques with a warm family approach to ensure your child feels secure and inspired to learn. I provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where every child feels secure enough to play, learn and grow. I am thrilled to bring my professional expertise and personal passion into a home setting to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young children.
My Experience
I have experience working with children for over 26 years. As a primary school teacher, I work with children 6-12 years olds; being a nursery practitioner and teaching assistant, I worked in the nursery with children 0-5 and in the reception class. As a teaching assistant, I engaged the children in various activities during lunch and after-school club. But I am now transiting into full-time childminding.
I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. As a mother and grandmother, I understand the importance of providing a nurturing and safe environment for children to thrive in. I am excited to embark on this new chapter in my career and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
My Qualifications
Qualifications:
-BA (Hons) Childhood and Youth Studies
-Maternity Nurse Certification
-Level 2 & 3 Childcare (CACHE/NVQ)
-Intermediate Safeguarding
-Paediatric First Aid Certified
My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm during term time only and holiday time, open to a mix of both. My services Include picking up and dropping off for schools around Eltham - Gordon Primary, Ealdham Primary School, Haimo Primary and St Mary's Catholic Primary School, and Eltham Church of England.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
