About Me
I am a mother to a 2.5 year old daughter with complex medical needs. We are looking for permanent support with her care. Her needs include a tracheostomy which means she needs 24/7 waking care, ventilation at night, and exclusive jejunal feeding (PEG-J). My daughter is very small for her age and is behind on movement and communication. However shows no sign for concern with her cognition. She is a joyful character to be around. Experience with PEGs or tracheostomies would be preferred but if not, a willingness to be trained.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to provide a regular waking night shift (1 or 2 a week) and day time support in the house or in our daughter's nursery setting. The candidate must be able to drive and have their own car. Looking for someone to live in or live nearby.
