I have completed a childcare Level 2 qualification so have a great deal of knowledge of children from newborn to preschool. My Experience
Current: Live In Nanny (September 2022 – Current)
I am currently working alongside a mother providing care for a young girl, aged 4. This is a mixture of sole and shared care along side some proxy parenting. As she attends school I have implemented a morning routine ensuring she is ready for the day. This consists of making breakfast, getting her washed and dressed and completing the drop off. Whilst she is at school I will complete all of the house keeping duties (I.e; ensuring all rooms are clean and tidy, making sure the clothes washing is up to date, deep cleaning of kitchen & bathroom, organising the play room, a general tidy up and walking the dog) Once collected from school, I will take the girl to any after school activities which are planned before coming home, I will cook a healthy meal for the family to eat, help with homework and complete a nighttime routine which is bath time, reading stories before listening to some lullabies and the girl falling to sleep. I have been able to build a great bond with both the mum and girl I care for in this role. I have been able to gain their trust which has allowed me to work to the best of my ability. I organise all play dates and age related activities to ensure the girl is always having education fun. I babysit up to 3 times a week and have also proxy patented whilst the mum has been away on holidays.
Previous: Nanny/Baby Sitter (January 2022 – September 2022)
During working a full time administration role (below) I worked as part time nanny for a friend as she worked away a lot. This was a boy aged 3. I would complete a morning routine which included waking him up around 7:30, preparing breakfast and dropping him off to nursery. I would collect him in the evening, as this was around 17:30pm we would have dinner together, do bath time and read stories before bedtime at 18:30pm. This would be on a week on, week off basis.
