About Me

I am UK born and have experience working with children in schools and am looking to venture into a new role where I can transfer those skills.

I’m a calm and dedicated Teaching Assistant who has worked with a wide range of age groups, including students with complex needs. I work closely with teachers to update strategies and communicate any concerns.

Over the years I have worked in schools, I have learned many different strategies and the importance of being adaptable. I stay calm and communicate clearly to help children feel valued, which contributes to a calm and structured environment.

I get along well with children as I listen to what they have to say and engage with them. I ran an after-school science club that I planned each week, where we carried out many hands-on experiments that the students really enjoyed. I would model the activity first and then they would complete it themselves. Independence was encouraged, but if they were stuck, they knew it was okay to ask for help — we all need a little help sometimes.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning new things, watching films/TV, and playing games. I am also open to trying new hobbies, as it’s good to step out of your comfort zone — you might discover something you really enjoy.
