My Experience
I have gained two years of valuable childcare experience, during which I have had the opportunity to work across all three main early years age groups:
• Babies – through placements during my college studies;
• Toddlers – where I served as a Room Manager;
• Preschool – where I held managerial responsibilities.
These roles have allowed me to develop a wide range of skills in nurturing and supporting children’s growth and development. I have supported key milestones such as potty training and the development of both gross and fine motor skills. I have also built strong, positive relationships with both children and parents, always approaching my work with understanding, patience, kindness, and professionalism. A key focus of my practice is creating safe, welcoming, and engaging environments where children feel secure, valued, and able to thrive every day.
Alongside my practical childcare experience, I am currently a second-year university student studying Primary Education. As part of my course, I have completed regular placements in primary school settings, where I have further strengthened my knowledge of child development, learning strategies, and classroom management. This combination of early years and school-based experience has given me a well-rounded perspective and the ability to support children of varying ages and developmental stages effectively.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare, which has provided me with a strong foundation in supporting children’s development, learning, and well-being. I am also Paediatric First Aid trained and DBS checked, ensuring that I can provide safe, responsible, and high-quality care at all times.
My Availability
I am available for babysitting and nannying throughout the school holidays, from Monday to Sunday, offering flexible support to meet the needs of families. During term time, I am also available for weekday babysitting around my university commitments. I am more than happy to discuss specific requirements to help provide the right level of care for your family.
