My Requirements
I’m looking for a reliable and committed nanny or childminder to support my two children during term time while I complete my full-time PGCE and QTS from September. My daughter Isabel is 10, has Down syndrome, and is highly functional—she’s bright, sociable, and thrives on routine. She arrives home by school bus, which drops her directly in our car park, and needs care until 6pm. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00pm (bus arrives between 3:10 and 3:20), and Tuesdays from 2:00pm (bus arrives between 2:10 and 2:20). The role involves meeting her from the bus, offering a light afternoon snack, and spending time with her at home—no cooking or housework is required. My 14-year-old son is independent and usually gets home around 5pm. Due to the demands of my course, I need someone who is genuinely dependable and consistent—someone I can count on to be there every day. SEN experience is a bonus.
