About Me
I am a Masters student at the University of York, looking for evening babysitting and/or school pickup and after-school childcare work, on a regular basis if possible. I truly love to work with children; I am reliable, conscientious, and patient, and I bring genuine enthusiasm and understanding to my work with children. I also hold a first class degree in English Literature and History, and would be more than happy to help with reading, homework, or other related academic areas.
My Experience
I am DBS-checked and trained in child safeguarding. I am more than happy to provide my DBS certificate, child safeguarding certificate and the contact details of referees. I have 5 years of experience in daytime and evening babysitting jobs, including school holidays and school pickup. I have provided childcare for children from age 2 to age 14, and for groups of up to five children. I have volunteer experience at primary and secondary schools in York, and I have worked at an international school with young people for the duration of summer 2022 and 2023.
