My Experience

With a strong foundation in physical education, I began my career as a PE teacher, where I developed a deep understanding of child development and the importance of active learning. Transitioning into early years, I took on the role of a nursery manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a nurturing environment for young children. Since January 2024, I have been dedicated to childminding, combining my professional expertise with my passion for outdoor activities. As a parent myself, I understand the trust parents place in caregivers, and I strive to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Physical Education, Sport, and Dance, complemented by Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which has provided me with a solid foundation in child development and education. My commitment to children's safety and well-being is underscored by my certification in paediatric first aid and completion of Level 3 Safeguarding training, ensuring I am well-equipped to protect and support the children in my care. Additionally, I have completed the Tiny Talkers course, enhancing my ability to support early language development through engaging and interactive activities. These qualifications collectively enable me to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.

My Availability

Since September 2025, Little Wonderers has been based at our wonderful setting at Lakeview Fisheries, where we provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, play and thrive.

Our setting has continued to grow, and I am now supported by a fantastic team of four assistants, including a qualified teacher like myself. Together, we bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to provide high-quality, personalised care and exciting learning opportunities tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests.

We are incredibly proud of the welcoming environment we have created, where children feel happy, secure and confident to explore the world around them.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

I am pleased to offer flexible payment options to support families. I accept government-funded childcare hours, including the 15 and 30 hours free childcare schemes for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds, as well as the new 15-hour entitlement for children aged nine months and above. Additionally, I am registered to receive Tax-Free Childcare payments, which can provide up to £2,000 per child annually to help with childcare costs.
