My Experience

With a strong foundation in physical education, I began my career as a PE teacher, where I developed a deep understanding of child development and the importance of active learning. Transitioning into early years, I took on the role of a nursery manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a nurturing environment for young children. Since January 2024, I have been dedicated to childminding, combining my professional expertise with my passion for outdoor activities. As a parent myself, I understand the trust parents place in caregivers, and I strive to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Physical Education, Sport, and Dance, complemented by Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which has provided me with a solid foundation in child development and education. My commitment to children's safety and well-being is underscored by my certification in paediatric first aid and completion of Level 3 Safeguarding training, ensuring I am well-equipped to protect and support the children in my care. Additionally, I have completed the Tiny Talkers course, enhancing my ability to support early language development through engaging and interactive activities. These qualifications collectively enable me to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.

My Availability

I'm excited to share that starting September 2025, I will be expanding my childminding service by welcoming a qualified assistant to our team. This addition will allow us to offer more personalized and attentive care, ensuring each child's unique needs are met in a nurturing environment. With this expansion, we will have additional spaces available for children aged 9 months and up. This timing aligns with the government's rollout of 15 hours of funded childcare for eligible working parents of children from 9 months old, beginning September 2025 . My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I am pleased to offer flexible payment options to support families. I accept government-funded childcare hours, including the 15 and 30 hours free childcare schemes for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds, as well as the new 15-hour entitlement for children aged nine months and above. Additionally, I am registered to receive Tax-Free Childcare payments, which can provide up to £2,000 per child annually to help with childcare costs.
