About Me

Hi I’m Freya Leeann, I have lots of experience working with children from under 1-12 years old! I’m 22 & have worked with children for approximately 8 years. I live in the Midlothian area & happy to travel.

As an individual I am; outgoing, bubbly, nurturing, patient, organised & loving. Currently, I work as a Learning Assistant within a local primary school. I have completed an SVQ 3 Level 7 in Playwork, I’m looking to furthermore my education & skills in the future. I have a great knowledge on Child Devlopment and how to help children flourish is many ways, through play experiences & learning opportunities.

Through my current Learning Assistant position, I have experience in supporting lovely learners / children with Additional Support Needs. I have gained a greatly skilled practice through working with my learners & keeping my training up to date.

I love the outdoors, going nature walks, baking, sensory play, reading and lots more!Imm dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, stimulating & creative environment, where children/young people can build self esteem, confidence, learn new skills & become independent (with supervision & guidance of course!). Helping & watching children take pride in the things they do/learn each day is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

My Experience

My experience working & caring for children of a variety ages from under 1-12 years old has been extremely rewarding. Everyday is a new day, new challenges and scenarios. Each day my confidence builds and I learn new tools, strategies & skills.

Overall, I’d say my experience has been positive. I enjoy watching children grow, learn & thrive. Being apart of a child’s journey/story is such a blessing.
