About Me

I am a married mother of 2 boys aged 7 & 11
I chose to be a childminder as I love spending time with children. We have a 5 year old small dog (Shih tzu / toy poodle cross)
I work closely everyday with another childminder which offers greater flexibility to families and allows us to pool our resources to offer better social interaction and a wider range of experiences.
Little Legs embraces and delights in the personality of each child by meeting their individual needs guided by the principles of The Early Years Foundation Stage. I offer a warm and interesting learning environment which nurtures the child's social integration, by allowing them the freedom to choose and time to discover their place in the world.
Little Legs is where children can feel at home. This encourages a joy of learning, curiosity and imagination and thus facilitating a positive foundation.
Following EYFS guidelines I offer a wide range of activities including...
Outdoor play, Arts and Crafts, Dressing up and role play, Messy play, Singing and Dance activities, Adult lead and Child lead activities, Baking and promoting healthy eating and lifestyle.
We do regular trips to local parks, local libraries, toddler groups & childminder drop-in centres. In school holidays we also visit museums, a variety of parks and on wet day’s in-door play centres.
