I am active, adventurous and passionate. I have often worked within hospitality, using it as a way to travel the world. I turned 25 this year and also became a proud auntie of 3 little nephews, confirming my decision to come home and start the next chapter of my life.
I recently returned from Canada and am pursuing my long term goal of a career within Early Years Development. I am working part time in a nursery to gain insight and experience, and to help me decide which education route to pursue. I am also helping my sisters with their newborns (one had twins!).
My Experience
I am currently working as a part time nursery assistant at a pre school in Bath.
I spent 6 months working as a full time nanny in France in 2022. I cared for a gorgeous little girl who was 4 months old when I started, and often also cared for her older brother who was 2. I was responsible for her day to day care, including feeding, changing and naps, and we went on daily adventures and play dates.
I also spent 6 months volunteering with Bath Welcomes Refugees, providing language support for 2 young children, first online and then weekly visits to their home as COVID restrictions lifted. We played games and worked through activities designed to promote their English speaking skills and help with their confidence.
I have also spent many hours as a babysitter for friends, family and neighbours from the age of 16.
My Qualifications
I have my A Levels and TEFL Qualifications.
I am currently trying to decide if I want to pursue my early years qualifications through the pre school I am working in, or if I want to study Montessori in September.
My Availability
I am available anytime for the next 2 weeks, and then available on evenings and weekends with the occasional weekdays. My availability may change week to week.
