Shania
Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Shania. I am an experienced, caring, and reliable childcare professional with a strong background in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I have worked with children aged 0–15 across a range of settings, providing tailored support for children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
I have completed a wide range of SEN-focused training and I am confident using Makaton to support communication and inclusion. I also run my own SEN tutoring business, where I provide structured, individualised support that builds confidence, independence, and learning at each child’s pace.
I am patient, calm, and highly attentive to children’s individual needs. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel understood and supported. Alongside caring for children, I enjoy supporting and guiding parents, sharing practical strategies and knowledge to help them feel more confident in meeting their child’s needs.
I am passionate about using my spare time to support families and make a positive difference. I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and parents and would love the opportunity to support your family.
