About Me
I teach at school for 2.5 days per week and do some online tutoring from time to time.
My partner works full-time for a national newspaper at home.
Our daughter was born in November 2023. She goes to nursery on Tuesdays and Thursdays while I’m teaching at school. On Wednesdays, my partner’s parents come over to help with childcare. I take care of our daughter from Friday to Monday, and my partner helps whenever he can.
My parents stay with us for six months each year, from January to July. We are seeking some help when my parents are away. This could be for a period of six months each year, or for a shorter time, depending on what works best for both sides.
My Requirements
look after the baby when she is awake, help with housework when the baby is asleep. We hope my childcare can shadow me and help with babysitting from time to time—for example, while I’m tutoring online or attending an appointment. Ideally, you can accompany me in my car when needed. It would be great if the chidcare also has time to help with some light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up, cleaning, or grocery shopping, but these are not essential. We also hope to build a strong friendship and form a close bond.
