About Me

Hello, I am Kim.
I am fully Ofsted registered childminder based in Raunds with a recent GOOD in all areas rating.
I have three children of my own aged 12, 9 and 4, I also have a small dog and kitten.
I enjoy going for walks in the national parks, canoeing and spending time with my family.
My home is situated across the road from a stunning growing nature reserve, we get lots of new and exciting creatures over there and it is perfect to safely explore. We have lots of uncommon birds and little animals I enjoy to see with the children.

My garden has swings and slides for all ages, a mud kitchen, sand pit and a large black bored. In the summer we are building a huge water play wall for the children to enjoy. We also have a large planter that we grow our veg and other pots for strawberries, blue berries, apple tree and a pear tree. I have real grass and a separate area paved for wet days and the winter months.

I love singing and dancing with the children and most of all reading exciting stories. All my books have meaningful life lessons and conversation starters in them. All my toys are wooden and in very good condition.

All my car seats are checked and are age appropriate, most impotently they are in date as they expire over time.
I provide a healthy snack daily along with water or milk. I allow the children (age depending) to prepare their snack and promote their independence throughout the day.

I also do daily tooth brushing for early starting children of all ages.

I use an app called Famly, this keeps you up-to-date with naps, nappy changes, snacks, learning journeys and invoices.
