About Me
I’m 43 and I have 2 daughters aged 18 and 25 and a grandson who has just turned 1.
I decided to study childcare after my eldest daughter attended a pre-school that in my eyes is one of the most beautiful experiences children go through.
That precious time just before school when they are able to learn through play.
I was able to study and work at that very place which was a great stepping stone to all the other doors that opened for me.
I went on to have another daughter and became a stay at home mum until she started full time school which enabled me to do numerous volunteer work within my local family centre.
My nannying work started at the childcare partnership managed by Wendy Ross.
From weddings to night feeds with newborn twins it’s been a complete mix of jobs I’ve undertaken.
Most recently I have worked for a family as a full time nanny/housekeeper for 5 years. The child has since started full time education but I am still required occasionally and can honestly say it was the best 5 years of my life working for them. Knowing the difference I made to their lives was.

My Experience
I have over 20 years experience working with children. I have been nannying for nearly 10 years of this since my 2 children are now grown up.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education.
Paediatric first aid trained.
My Availability
I currently work in the half terms for a family so have full availability in term time and most weekends.
