My Requirements

We’re looking for a reliable, regular babysitter who can look after our daughter for a few hours a couple of weekends per month to start with. I’m currently pregnant with our second so we may also wish to expand the scope of the role as we get further into the pregnancy e.g. to helping with nursery drop-off/pick-up (around 2 miles from our house) and potentially other roles around this depending on what you offer. Additionally, it could include helping with the newborn or toddler when the baby arrives early next year.

Currently we just need someone regular who can build a relationship with our daughter and give us both a break every other weekend or so. We have no family nearby and with my pregnancy we’re finding ourselves a bit overwhelmed at times.

If this is something you’d be interested in, the most important factors for us will be your ability to build a rapport with our daughter, experience with young children/toddlers, reliability, and some flexibility. We would like the person to be part of our family’s life for the foreseeable so we’d like someone who is planning for a more permanent role.

Note: I’ve included all potential upcoming requirements but currently only looking for weekend support.
