I'm a 24-year-old with a passion for creating a nurturing environment for children. My love for games, special interest in Montessori education, and enthusiasm for art, guide my approach to childcare. I am originally from Zimbabwe and can speak fluent English and Shona. I can teach basic sign-language to babies (words such as mama, water, daddy, please, thank you, hungry, I’m sorry).
My hobbies include:

And much more! These hobbies play a key role in my childcare abilities as it creates an arty and entertaining environment for the children I care for.
My Experience
I have been working in nannying and general childcare since 2017. I started as a freelance babysitter in the Northamptonshire area but I also have experience being a camp leader for children between the ages of 4-12.
2019-2021
Practiced as a midwifery student.
2021 - 2022
I worked as a Nursery Teacher focusing in the baby room which started at ages as young as 4months to 14 months.
2022-2023
Worked as a Montessori nursery teacher in Cambridge where we focused on Montessori values and teaching. My main classroom was the preschool room which are aged 2-4 but I also helped with the rest of the ages (between 6 months to 4 years). This involved planning day trips with the children as well as baking, cooking, cleaning, potty training, and organising Montessori led activities plus much more!
2024 - 2025
I am currently working as a nanny to a lovely family, but will be leaving in January 2026. I built a close bond and relationship with both the children and the parent, also met and socialised with the grandparents at times! I have done bed times, after school pick-ups, before school drop-offs, and even taking the children to after school clubs and activities. We did a lot of extra curricular activities together and indulged in a lot of arts and crafts; making doll-house books or pillow forts to combat too much “screen-time”.

Recent DBS.
Paediatric first aid trained.
Moving and handling training.
GCSEs and 3 A Levels.
I’m also happy to undertake any further qualifications that are requested.
