My Requirements

Hello! We are looking for a part-time nanny/housekeeper for our son Hari, who is going into Year 1 in September 2025. He is a cheerful and lively boy who loves dinosaurs, sharks & imaginative play!

Our lovely current nanny who has been with us for 18 months is moving to a full time role at a school. We are hoping for someone to start in Septmeber. In terms of hours, we would like to hire someone who can do Mon to Fridays from 3.30 to 6.30pm, or 3-7pm, in term-time and holidays (he attends a holiday club in general).

For the shifts themselves, it would generally involve picking up Hari at 3.30 from school in Central Oxford and walking him home (about 20 mins), and then doing some play/homework/activities before serving him dinner at 5.30-6.00. There will probably be a swimming lesson to take him to one day a week and some after school activities (tbc).

On the housekeeping side, we would like someone who would do the family laundry and tidying the communal areas/Hari's room, and who might be willing also to do some family dinner prep. We are open to discussing these needs with respect to interest/wage levels.

There is not much in the way of easy parking near us - we have some limited visitor parking permits but these would only be available on a one-off basis.

There would be occasional evening babysitting opportunities as well.

Salary offer is £18-22 gross per hour. I use Nannytax for set-up and contracts.
