My Experience

With over a decade (10+ years) dedicated to working with children, my experience spans across various settings, giving me a comprehensive understanding of early years development and diverse family needs.

As a fully OFSTED Registered Childminder, I specialise in providing personalised, small-group care that truly feels like a home extension. This intimate setting allows me to focus on each child's individual personality, learning pace, and unique needs, ensuring they feel secure, valued, and ready to explore.

My practical experience comes with a structured approach to learning:

Curriculum Development:
I have developed and implemented a proprietary curriculum of 31 structured lessons, all delivered within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This ensures every child in my care is actively learning and progressing across the seven areas of development (Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design).

Age Expertise:
I have significant experience nurturing children from infancy right through to school age, successfully preparing them for the transition into primary education with confidence and strong foundational skills.

A key part of my long-standing experience involves building open and trusting relationships with parents. I believe in working as a team, offering regular updates and discussions on your child's milestones, progress, and daily activities to ensure consistency between our setting and your home.

My practical, hands-on experience, along with my commitment to academic achievement, provides a high-quality, nurturing, and developmentally rich experience for every child entrusted to my care.

Safety, compliance, and ongoing professional development are obviously paramount, so I ensure all mandatory requirements are maintained and exceeded:

OFSTED Registered: Fully compliant with all standards for the Early Years Register. My registration guarantees that my setting, care practices, and suitability checks meet the requirements set by the governing body.

Paediatric First Aid Certified: I hold a current, comprehensive Paediatric First Aid certificate, ensuring I am equipped to handle any emergency with competence and confidence.

Childminding in the Community (ChiC) Certificate: This specialised training ensures I am skilled in running a successful, safe, and engaging childminding business within the community framework.

I have practical expertise in structuring care and learning around the mandated national framework:

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): I implement the EYFS framework, which guides the quality of teaching and learning in my setting. My 31-lesson curriculum is specifically designed to meet all seven areas of EYFS learning, tracking and supporting every child's progress efficiently.

6-7 year-olds:
3 spaces available immediately.

8+ year-olds:
5 spaces available immediately.

My Fees

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

My fees are £7.00 per hour, however, if you qualify for free childcare hours from your local council, I fully support and accept this and tax-free childcare schemes.

I am registered to accept various forms of government funding and schemes to save you as much money as possible (I'm a parent too, so I know exactly that funded hours are very important).

Tax-Free Childcare: I accept payments through the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

Funded Hours: I offer government funded hours.
