My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children across different age groups in both early years and school settings. I previously worked in a nursery, where I supported babies, toddlers, and pre-school children with their daily care, learning, and development. My responsibilities included supporting play-based learning, assisting with feeding, personal care, nap times, and following routines in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Following this, I progressed into my current role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), where I support children and young people in a school environment. I work with individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs and mental health or emotional challenges. I support learning activities, behaviour management, emotional regulation, and wellbeing, while ensuring safeguarding and child safety at all times.
Across both roles, I have developed strong skills in building positive relationships with children, adapting care to meet individual needs, and working closely with families and professionals. I am confident supporting children of different ages, maintaining routines, and providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

• Monday – Friday: Available after 6:00pm
• Saturday – Sunday: Fully available (any time)
I am happy to discuss regular or occasional bookings and can be flexible where possible with advance notice.
