About Me
Welcome to Wanderland Nature School, providing Outdoors Early Years Enrichment for 2 - 4 year olds in Nottingham.
OUR SPACE
Our Nature School consists of a sensory garden cabin, astroturfed sports pitch and wild nature area with mud kitchen & chicken coop (coming soon). In the case of high winds, we use the indoor playroom, kitchen and dining room space for H&S reasons.
OUR FAMILY
I'm a Registered Childcare Provider, former Teaching Assistant, Wellness Therapist & Animal and Nature Lover. I am 33 years old and I live with my husband, 2 young boys and gentle giant of a dog (pet chickens will be joining our brood in the near future!). We would love to welcome you and your child(ren) into our family community too.

OUR ACTIVITIES
We are outdoors most of the day (4hours min) in all weathers (except high winds). We LOVE nature and all things natural so offer a variety of outdoor provisions and natural resources where possible. We focus on essential life skills and encourage independence for all.

My Experience
After a few years of working in classrooms, I was astounded by the enormous therapeutic benefits I witnessed when working with children outside. I knew it was time to escape the 4 walls and into the beautiful outdoors.
As a mother of two, I know parents are facing magnified challenges meeting all of their child's needs. I would be honoured to be a part of your support circle and share my therapeutic outdoor approach. My goal is to developmentally support your child while co-facilitating with nature.

-12 A* - C GCSEs including Maths, English and Science
-A Level Business Studies, Dance &Art and Design
-CACHE Level 2 and 3 Supporting and Teaching in Schools
-Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT
-Open University Certificate in Health Studies
-VTCT Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, Health and Safety, Holistic Therapies
-TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training

My Availability
FUNDING - You can use your government funding to access a space at Wanderland. You can also split your funding and use it over more than one childcare provider if you wish to combine our sessions with another nursery/preschool.
