Instilling in the children strong habits for routine and independence in a consistently calm and reassuring manner, encourages confidence and self reliance with a sense of pride in ones own achievements. I enjoy spending time with the children both indoors and outdoors. Guidance suited to the child's’ processing of information is done as unobtrusively as possible. I offer complete peace of mind while your precious darling(s) are met daily with genuine smiles and interest in their every experience. A moral happy person with a myriad of interests and knowledge together with a love and enjoyment of life, I'm a great role model for children. Above all I'm dependable and trustworthy and confident I would be a valuable asset. This work is a perfect fit for me.
My approach to child care is holistic, educational and developmentally focused. Firm consistent boundaries are where children feel safe, are indispensable to their development and promote good decision making and listening skills, essential to safeguarding your children. I apply critical thinking, deductive reasoning and evidence based psychology over selective internet bias in support of guidance of young children to appropriately and joyfully navigate and thrive in life. With over 20 years confident accident free driving experience, I own a reliable vehicle with an up to date MOT. In addition I’m on the DBS update service and hold a full paediatric first aid certification.

What can I say? Lu has been a phenomenal addition to our home and family. Not only has she supported our daughter’s development in remarkable ways, but she has also helped me find my confidence as a first-time mum, giving me the courage to navigate an entirely new chapter.
Watching our daughter’s face light up every day when Lu arrived was nothing short of magical. Lu joined us when our daughter was just six months old, at the point when I returned to work. In a very short space of time, she helped her progress from early developmental stages to sitting unsupported, supported standing, and engaging in structured, purposeful play. Lu positive influence is evident every day in the milestones we’re lucky enough to witness, as well as in the happiness she brings.
From day one, Lu seamlessly became part of our home, integrating naturally into our family dynamic. She is incredibly open and collaborative in her communication, always ensuring we can make decisions together—whether that’s navigating sleep regressions, managing teething, or introducing allergens into our daughter’s diet. Her support has been invaluable, and it’s genuinely difficult to find any area where she hasn’t exceeded expectations.
Lu shared daily updates about their time together, often including photos, which meant we never felt like we were missing out. Her communication and ability to put me at ease made all the difference in my return to work, enabling a smooth transition from maternity leave to full-time working mother.
Lu’s passion for childcare shines through in everything she does. She will be greatly missed, but I have no doubt she will be an incredible asset to any family she works with in the future.

Lu has worked with us for almost a year and she has been absolutely outstanding. She is very kind, polite and patient. Lu is not just providing nanny service but she is educating and developing our little girl. She treats children as little humans and someone she provides guidance to.
Lu is highly intelligent and sensitive to understand children and interpret their needs into appropriate educational activities suitable to them and what they truly like.

Lu has been an ad-hoc Nanny to my two Daughters (6 and 3y/o) since 2023 and is our number 1 choice whenever we need to book a Nanny in. Why? Because she is extremely hands-on, creative, fun, energetic and trustworthy! The girls absolutely love her and her approach to play-time always takes into account what interests the girls have or what they want to do that day. When it comes to setting boundaries (which as you can imagine happens sometimes with 2 cheeky little ones), Lu handles it with care, attention and fairness. You can tell she loves what she does and I feel very comfortable as a Mother that my girls are in safe hands. I couldn't recommend Lu highly enough!
