Hello, my name is Amie, I’m 29 years old. My whole career has been based in Early Years Learning, I’ve worked in two different nurseries throughout the past 11+ years. I have progressed from a student to a qualified staff to a room leader then to an acting deputy manager. I’m currently a room leader and have been for 6 years now.
I have collaborated closely with professionals across health, education, and social care to ensure children and their families receive the support they need. Whether through direct work or informal guidance outside of the workplace, I have consistently been a trusted source of support for families navigating challenging circumstances.
I have over 11 years of experience working closely with children and families, supporting their individual needs and helping them thrive through care, understanding, and early intervention. Having worked in various nursery settings, I have built positive relationships with both the children and their families, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). My role has often involved identifying concerns early, offering practical support, and working in partnership with external professionals to ensure the right help is in place.
